Private, chauffeur-driven, yours for the day
What is a private Abu Dhabi City Tour?
A private Abu Dhabi city tour is the capital on your own terms. You get a car and your own driver for the day, so you choose the order of the stops, how long you linger at each one, and when to pause for photos, food or prayer, without ever sharing the vehicle or following someone else’s timetable. It turns a few free hours, or a whole day, into a calm, well-paced introduction to the city rather than a rushed checklist.
First-time visitors
See the capital’s headline sights in one smooth day, with a driver who explains the history and takes the guesswork out of getting around.
Families & groups
Everyone rides together in one private car at a pace that suits kids and grandparents alike, so nobody is rushed and nobody waits on a crowd.
Layover & from-Dubai guests
Short on time, or coming across from Dubai? We shape the whole day around the hours you have and make sure every one of them counts.
Your car and driver
See exactly what you are booking
Every tour is a private, air-conditioned car with your own driver, so you always know what turns up. No shared coach, no mystery vehicle, just a clean car and a professional at the wheel.

What does a day in Abu Dhabi look like?
Here is how a full day usually flows, an easy loop through the capital’s landmarks. Nothing is fixed: just tell the driver what matters most and the timing reshapes around you. The driver also works around the heat and the traffic, indoor sights in the middle of the day and the coast when the light is at its best.

Private vs the rest
Private car versus a shared coach or hop-on-hop-off
You could join a shared coach or ride the hop-on-hop-off bus around Abu Dhabi. Here is an honest look at how a private car compares, and why most visitors choose it.
Private car
Your best day out
- Just your group, no strangers on board
- Leave when you like, linger where you like
- The route bends to you, not a timetable
- A driver who parks, waits and helps with bags
- One price for the car, two guests or six
- You see more and wait for no one
Shared coach tour
Cheaper, but rigid
- Shared with strangers on a set timetable
- Fixed boarding points, not your hotel door
- One route, no detours or changes
- One guide for the whole coach
- Priced per person, so it adds up fast
- Waiting while everyone boards at each stop
Hop-on-hop-off bus
Flexible-ish, but slow
- You wait for the next bus at every stop
- Stuck to the bus loop, wherever it runs
- Recorded commentary, no real guide
- Standing in the heat between buses
- Per-person tickets for each rider
- Slow once you add up all the waiting

Why travellers choose us
Why book your Abu Dhabi day with us
Anyone can drive you around Abu Dhabi. Here is what booking straight with the people who run the tour actually gets you.
You book direct, not through a middleman
You reach the small team that actually runs the tour, so nothing gets lost between a marketplace, a call centre and the driver.
The driver works for you, not the shops
No detours to commission carpet or souvenir stops. Your hours go where you want them, and only there.
A licensed local operator, not a kerbside car
Proper insured vehicles and professional chauffeurs who know the capital, not an unlicensed freelance ride you flag down.
We do this every day in Abu Dhabi
This is our city and our routine, so we plan around prayer times, the quiet hours and the fastest way between each stop.
Before you go
Good to know before your tour
A few small things that make your Abu Dhabi day smoother, nothing to worry about, your driver handles the rest.
Comfy shoes
There is a little walking at the Grand Mosque and around Qasr Al Watan, so flat, comfortable shoes are ideal.
Prayer times and Fridays
These can shift Grand Mosque visiting hours, and your driver plans the day around them.
Sun cover
The sun is strong most of the year, so pack sunglasses, a hat and a little sunscreen.
A little cash
Most places take cards, but small cash is handy for a souk stall or a quick snack.
Photos at the Mosque
Welcome outdoors, with a few indoor spots where you are asked to put cameras away.
Best season
October to April is most comfortable for a full day outdoors; in summer we lean on indoor stops.

Abu Dhabi City Tour reviews
Real messages from real guests, collected over WhatsApp after their day in Abu Dhabi, shown with their name, trip type and month. Six tours, six five-star replies.
Just got dropped back at our hotel in Dubai and what an unreal day in Abu Dhabi. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque took our breath away in person. Our driver was an absolute star, sorted out the abaya for me without any stress and took brilliant photos of us outside Emirates Palace. The car was ice cold the whole time, which we really needed. Thanks again for organising on such short notice.
Verified on WhatsAppThank you very much for today. Driver Tariq was very polite and respectful with my elderly parents. He drove very smoothly and did not rush them anywhere, especially at the mosque and the heritage village. The clean car and cold water bottles at every stop were much appreciated. Very good service, 5 stars from all of us.
Verified on WhatsAppDoing the private tour from Dubai to Abu Dhabi was 100 percent the right choice. As a solo female traveller I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. I got to see Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan and the Corniche without any huge bus tour crowds. My guide was so knowledgeable about the history too. Ten out of ten service.
Verified on WhatsAppThank you for an amazing tour today. The GMC was spacious and clean, and the kids were knocked out on the drive back. Qasr Al Watan was mind blowing, so glad you recommended adding that to the itinerary. The driver made sure we beat the big queues at the mosque entrance too. Will pass your number to our cousins coming in December.
Verified on WhatsAppThe driver was on time at 8:30 sharp in front of our Downtown hotel. Loved that we could stop at Yas Marina and Ferrari World for quick photos without feeling rushed. Very flexible itinerary and great recommendations for a local lunch spot. Professional service all round.
Verified on WhatsAppThank you and your driver Mansoor for a wonderful day in Abu Dhabi. Mansoor driving was very steady on the highway and his knowledge of the UAE was remarkable. We loved the date market stop and the incredible architecture at the Presidential Palace. Truly a first class private tour experience.

Abu Dhabi tour FAQ
Is the tour private?
Yes. The car is yours for the day, just your group and the driver, so nobody else shares your vehicle or your schedule.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. One flat price covers the whole vehicle, up to six guests in a sedan or SUV, so a family of four pays once, not four times.
Can you do an Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai?
Yes, it is one of our most popular options. We collect you in Dubai, drive down, run the full tour, and bring you back the same evening.
Do you need a separate visa to visit Abu Dhabi from Dubai?
No. Whatever entry lets you into Dubai covers all seven emirates, including Abu Dhabi, so there is no extra visa and no border to cross.
How far is Abu Dhabi from Dubai, and is the bus better?
It is about 150 km, roughly ninety minutes by car each way. A public bus is cheaper but takes longer with changes and a fixed timetable, while a private car goes door to door and waits for you all day.
Is a day trip to Abu Dhabi worth it, and is one day enough?
Yes. One relaxed full day covers the Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Watan, the Corniche and the Louvre without rushing, which is plenty for a first visit.
How long is the tour?
Half day is about five to six hours, full day about eight. From Dubai, plan on a full day because of the drive each way.
What vehicle will we have?
A private, air conditioned sedan or SUV for up to six guests, or a Land Cruiser for larger groups or a bit more comfort.
Can you pick us up from the airport, and can we choose the time?
Yes. We collect from your Abu Dhabi or Dubai hotel, and from the airport on request, at a start time you choose. The driver calls before arrival so there is no waiting.
Is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque included, and can we go inside?
Yes, the visit is included and entry is free, and you go inside the main prayer halls and courtyard. A dress code applies, and on Fridays it opens to visitors only after midday prayers.
What is the dress code for the Grand Mosque?
Covered shoulders and knees for everyone, loose non-transparent clothing, and a headscarf for women. Shoes come off before the prayer halls, and it is best to keep large tattoos covered. Free abayas are lent at the entrance if you need one.
Can we add Ferrari World or the Louvre?
Yes, as a full day option built around Yas Island or Saadiyat. Park and museum tickets are bought separately, and the driver waits while you are inside.
Is Qasr Al Watan worth visiting?
If you enjoy architecture, yes. The Great Hall dome and the Presidential Library are the highlights, and it needs a separate paid ticket.
Can we customise the route?
Yes. Every itinerary is a suggestion, so tell the driver what matters most, for example more time at the mosque or a stop at the Dates Market, and he builds the day around it.
Are child seats available?
Yes, just ask when you book and we fit one in advance at no drama.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free and you can move the date if plans change, just message us on WhatsApp. For example, if your hotel plan shifts, we simply rebook the tour at no charge.
How many people can join, and can you take larger groups?
A sedan or SUV seats up to six, and a Land Cruiser suits larger families or extra comfort. For bigger groups we send more than one car so everyone travels together.
What does it cost, and how do we book?
From $190 per car for a half day and from $299 for a full day, flat and per car. Message us on WhatsApp with your date and group size and we confirm straight away, then you settle with the driver.
Is the tour wheelchair or stroller accessible?
The tour runs in a private car, so we can set a gentle pace and keep walking to a minimum. The car itself is not wheelchair-adapted, and the Grand Mosque and a couple of stops involve some walking and steps; strollers are fine at most places. Tell us what you need when you book and we will plan the day to suit.
